LIKE MANY GREAT IDEAS, IT ALL STARTED OVER LATE NIGHT CONVERSATIONS WITH FRIENDS…

Paul had worked with his family’s HVAC business, ANCO Heating Services, on and off since he was a kid in the 90’s and really took interest in the electrical involved in Heating and Cooling systems. While he was in college at Plattsburgh State getting his Bachelors in Business Management, he worked at Curtis Lumber where he helped customers with their Electric and Plumbing questions.  He began getting a lot of requests from friends and family to help them with their various home improvement projects which he enjoyed doing When he purchased his first home, it became Paul’s favorite hobby to take on a project at his house. Paul went on to get his MBA from Empire State University and began helping organizations create business plans and marketing campaigns. As much as he enjoyed it, the dream of starting his own business was still on his mind.

Paul found himself looking for a career change at the same time as some of his close friends. For months, they started having many late night conversations discussing how they wanted to be their own boss moving forward, and how great it would be to start a business that would fill a void that exists in the community, while doing something they loved.

In the summer of 2022, Paul decided to make that dream a reality and formed Phaze Services, LLC. They chose the name Phaze because their conversations often happened at night while the moon was shining through its various phases.  Oh yeah, why phase with a Z?  It’s a nod to one of their favorite local beers: Phaze by Four Quarters Brewery.
